Pea and Ham Soup Jan - August 2023 I always made the pea and ham soup from the original Edmonds Cookbook which was the best ever. I no longer have that book but just made the recipe from the Edmonds Classics book. Extremely disappointing. On checking other recipes for pea and ham soup online it appears the Edmonds recipe has 1 litre too much water and only half the amount of split peas. This resulted in a watery bland 'soup'. Would definitely not make again! And are the other recipes correct?
